Our approach to access
Hoop Geeks wants families, athletes, volunteers, and supporters to be able to find information and use our website. We aim to make the experience readable, navigable, and usable across different devices and ways of interacting.
Accessibility is an ongoing part of maintaining the site. This statement is not a claim of an independent accessibility audit or a guarantee that every page or third-party service is free of barriers.
Website features
The site includes labeled forms, keyboard focus indicators, a skip-to-content link, responsive layouts, and support for reduced-motion preferences. The mobile navigation supports keyboard use and closing with Escape. Policy documents use section headings and links to help you find information.
You can use your browser’s zoom and your device’s accessibility settings. Contact us if text, a control, a form error, or a payment step is difficult to access.
Outside platforms & content
Some activities use outside services, including Stripe payments, Instagram, and BAND. We do not control every part of those experiences. Flyers and other supplied images may also contain information that is harder to access than normal website text.
If a third-party tool or image prevents you from getting program information or completing an action, let us know. Staff can discuss the information or assistance you need.
Report a barrier or request assistance
Email hoopgeeks24@gmail.com or use the contact page. Describe the page or activity, what you were trying to do, and the difficulty you encountered. If useful, include your browser, device, or assistive technology; you do not need to disclose a diagnosis or medical history.
Tell us how you would prefer to be contacted and whether you need information in another format. We will review the issue and work with you on an available way to access the information or service. This statement will be updated as the website changes.
