Parents, guardians & enrollment

Hoop Geeks welcomes boys and girls at beginning, developing, and advanced stages of their basketball journey. A parent or guardian should submit the interest form and manage communications for a minor athlete. Staff will follow up about the appropriate next steps, team availability, and participation documents.

An online interest submission is not final enrollment, a team selection, or permission to attend a particular session. Confirm dates, locations, required documents, and any charges with staff. This guide does not replace a separate participation agreement or grant an athletic liability release.

Academic & conduct expectations

The published academic requirement is a 3.0 GPA or higher for the high school team and a B average or higher for the middle school team. All participants must demonstrate respect for others and good sportsmanship and provide a recent sports physical through the process staff specify.

Do not send medical documents or school records through a general website message. Staff can explain how eligibility is reviewed and what is required before participation. Families should discuss an individual concern or support need directly with the team.

Team levels & program fees

The program includes Silver Level 1 (local), Gold Level 2 (competitive), and Elite Level 3 (travel). Athletes may have opportunities to progress based on development. Staff determine placement; participation does not guarantee advancement or acceptance by another organization.

For selected team members, the supplied program schedule lists a $30 monthly membership fee and a $110 uniform fee. Optional paid training is $20 per group session or $35 per individual session. Confirm current charges with staff before enrolling or paying. Fees associated with higher-level organizations may follow those organizations’ own policies.

Optional training is not mandatory. Online donations are separate from these charges. Contact staff about a fee question, a cancellation, or a payment concern.

Roster & media permissions

Staff must record permission before publishing a player on a public roster. The public fields are limited to an approved display name, jersey number, and position. Guardian contacts, full private athlete records, and eligibility checks remain in the staff area.

Submitting a form does not itself grant a general photo or video release. Any use requiring separate media permission should be discussed with the family. A parent or guardian can contact hoopgeeks24@gmail.com to ask for a correction or removal from a public roster or raise a concern about website imagery.

Questions, access needs & concerns

For participation questions, conduct concerns, access needs, or a youth privacy issue, contact hoopgeeks24@gmail.com. Include enough context for staff to follow up without sending unnecessary sensitive information. Please do not use social media comments to disclose a child’s private information.

Website forms and email are not emergency services or continuously monitored reporting channels. If someone is in immediate danger or needs urgent medical attention, contact emergency services. For help using the website, see our accessibility statement.
