About these terms
These terms cover the public website and online services of Hoop Geeks Youth Development Inc. (“Hoop Geeks,” “we,” or “us”). Please read them before using our forms or making a donation. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use these services. Questions can be sent to hoopgeeks24@gmail.com.
These website terms do not replace enrollment agreements, event rules, guardian permissions, medical clearances, or other documents provided separately for participation. Using this website does not sign an athletic liability waiver or grant permission to publish a child’s information.
Using the website responsibly
You may browse, share links, and use our forms for legitimate program, volunteer, partnership, event, and donation inquiries. Provide accurate information and submit information about another person only when you are authorized to do so. A parent or guardian must handle submissions for a minor athlete.
Do not impersonate others, submit abusive or unlawful material, send spam, attempt to access staff accounts without authorization, interfere with the website, or collect personal information about young people from the site. Access to staff tools is limited to authorized personnel.
Programs, events & availability
Program descriptions, schedules, fees, team levels, and event details may change. Confirm important arrangements with staff before traveling or paying a program fee. An interest form is a request for follow-up, not a promise of selection or participation. An event form records your registration request; any additional eligibility, capacity, or attendance requirements still apply.
Basketball development varies by athlete. We do not guarantee playing time, advancement, recruitment, scholarships, or particular academic or athletic outcomes. Any demonstration content identified as a preview is illustrative and does not announce a confirmed event or identify an actual participant.
Donations & payments
Our online donation form accepts one-time gifts in U.S. dollars through Stripe. You must be authorized to use the payment method you provide. Review the amount before confirming payment. The donations and refunds policy explains transaction confirmations, tax information, and requests for payment assistance.
A donation does not purchase a roster place, training session, uniform, or event admission. Membership and other program charges are handled separately.
Content, images & outside links
Our original website material, marks, and designs belong to Hoop Geeks or their respective owners. You may share links and use material for personal informational purposes. Please obtain permission before reproducing photographs, logos, or substantial website content for advertising, commercial use, or an implied endorsement. Other organizations’ marks remain their property.
Links to Instagram, BAND, Stripe, and other outside services are provided for convenience. Their availability, content, and information practices are governed by their own terms. A link or mention does not by itself create an endorsement or partnership.
Availability, accuracy & your rights
We work to keep information useful and the website available, but content can contain errors and service can be interrupted. Website content is general information, not individualized medical, legal, or tax advice. Please report a material error or access problem so we can review it.
Nothing in these terms excludes a right or responsibility that applicable law does not allow to be excluded. These terms do not require arbitration, waive a participant’s legal rights, or replace the responsibilities in a separately signed program agreement.
Updates & contact
We may update these terms when the website or our practices change. The “Last updated” date identifies the current version. Changes apply prospectively and do not retroactively change a completed donation or a separate signed agreement.
